1. PHYSICAL PARAMETERS

General

  • Full body harness made up of 44 mm wide polyester webbing.
  • Completely electrically insulated harness.
  • Consists of two chest attachment textile loops and a non-conductive dorsal attachment D-rings for fall arrest.
  • Cushioned pad is provided at waist level.
  • Two non-conductive lateral D-Rings at waist for work positioning.
  • Elasticated shoulder strap provide flexibility and snug filing to the user.
  • Special plastic coated D-rings and all metal adjustment buckles makes it completely electrically insulated.

4. VITAL TEST COMPLIANCE

STATIC STRENGTH

Harness: Tested at each attachment element with a force of 15 kN applied to the Torso Dummy for 3 min.

Waist Belt: LATERAL D-RINGS: Sustains a force of 15 kN of 1530 kgf for 3 minutes at each lateral element without releasing the torso dummy.

DYNAMIC PERFORMANCE

Harness: When tested at each Fall Arrest Attachment element with a torso dummy of 100 Kg mass, the full body harness withstands drop tests with an adjusted Free fall distance of 4 mtr. One drop-test with torso dummy feet first, and one drop test with torso dummy head first. After each Drop-test, the torso dummy is arrested in Head-Up position, and angle between the longitudinal axis of the dorsal plane of the torso dummy and the ver􀆟cal is less than 50 degrees.

Waist Belt: Sustained a free fall from 1 meter height donned to the test dummy at each lateral attachment, and does not allow the dummy to be released.
